Six years in the making, the project involved more than 200 cast and crew members, with approximately 200,000 still images captured during production.
Combining a zapping-style sound novel in which players switch between characters to advance the story, high-quality live-action footage, and immersive 360-degree camera sequences, \u201cAKIBA LOST\u201d offers a new kind of live-action suspense gaming experience. A television drama was also produced in collaboration with Nippon Television specifically to enhance the quality of the game.
The story is set in Akihabara, Japan’s iconic hub of subculture. The protagonist, game creator Shinjo, brings together six unique individuals who embody the spirit of Akihabara.
