Regarding the Steam Version Release

The release of the Steam version was delayed due to the review and approval process. We are pleased to announce that the game has now successfully passed the review process and will officially launch on October 20 (PDT).
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to everyone who has been patiently waiting for the Steam release.
As an apology for the delay and a token of our sincere appreciation for your patience and support, we have prepared three special bonuses for the Steam version.

① Launch Discount Increased from 10% to 20% Off

②200 New Still Shots Featuring Buddy Characters Added to the AKIBA LOST Album!
*This content is also planned to be added to platforms other than Steam in a future update.

Starting with the morning of Day 1, clearing Shinjo’s chapter for each time period will unlock still shots featuring the buddy characters who appeared during that time period.
If you carry over save data from the demo, still shots corresponding to the time periods you have already completed will automatically be added to your AKIBA LOST Album in the full version.

③Free Pixel Art Character Wallpapers for PC & Mobile as a Downloadable Bonus
*The wallpapers will also be made available at a later date to those who purchased the game on platforms other than Steam.

Players can access the wallpaper download link directly from the in-game Options menu and download the wallpapers from there.
For other platforms, we will provide further details once preparations for distribution are complete. We appreciate your patience.
In addition, we have made improvements to text display and controls, along with fixes for minor bugs.

About AKIBA LOST

“AKIBA LOST” is an epic, feature-length live-action ensemble multi-angle suspense game.
Six years in the making, the project involved more than 200 cast and crew members, with approximately 200,000 still images captured during production.
Combining a zapping-style sound novel in which players switch between characters to advance the story, high-quality live-action footage, and immersive 360-degree camera sequences, “AKIBA LOST” offers a new kind of live-action suspense gaming experience. A television drama was also produced in collaboration with Nippon Television specifically to enhance the quality of the game.
The story is set in Akihabara, Japan’s iconic hub of subculture. The protagonist, game creator Shinjo, brings together six unique individuals who embody the spirit of Akihabara.
Winner of the Future Division at the Japan Game Awards 2025.
